Playa de las Vistas

Playa Las Vistas is probably the most popular beach in Los Cristianos. It is a white sand beach, man-made, with all the facities. Inside its construction is the striking fountain that divides the beach into two halves, a work that has become an icon and image of the island of Tenerife. Regarding its dimensions, Las Vistas has a length of more than 800 meters and a considerable width of about 80 to 100 meters, depending on the tide. The color of the sand is golden and mixes with volcanic black in some areas of the beach. It has a very pleasant touch, ideal for beach sports such as soccer or volleyball. Two dikes or breakwaters were also made on its sides to minimize the arrival of waves and marine currents towards the shore, thus achieving a safer beach for a wider public.The water is shallow near the shoreline, so it is great for kids. There are not many waves and there are some inflatable toys available.
