Meson Castellano
Back to all places
Restaurant Meson Castellano. It is, as the name suggests, a restaurant specializing in Castilian cuisine, owned and run by old men from the mainland, who treat food and the traditions of Spanish cuisine with a devotion that could be called religious, and which puts them not just above this Costa Adeje fish-and-chips space, but instead another universe. I highly recommend it, but not for those occasions when you are in a hurry. The serious drawback of the place is that, despite the fact that the owners have placed themselves in the complete epicenter of the tourist trap, they obviously do not digest tourists from elsewhere. Some basic Spanish expressions like "hola, buenos dias, por favor, gracias" would obviously help to start a smoother conversation and sometimes they really soften the attitude, but not always. But these nihilists understand how to cook.
