El Puertito stones beach

Playa del Puertito is situated in the village El Puertito. This is only a small beach with black volcanic sand, visited almost only by residents of the village. There are some restaurants and bars with fresh food and less expensive than the restaurants in the nearby resorts. El Puertito beach is also reported to be a good place for fishing and diving. Due to the quite nature, some tourists have reported that they have encountered sea turtles in the waters, a unique and different experience in Tenerife.
