Casa Turista
Back to all places
Turista in the name of this house is older than tourism as we know it and really just means traveler. The building is a part of the monastery dating back to the sixteenth century, set aside for the accommodation of travellers. Nowadays, this is a tourist trap forming a single complex with a house with balconies. There is an art gallery, a pearl shop and an arts and crafts shop, which is worth a visit for the display of volcanic sand carpets, especially if you skip the flower and sand carpet museum.
