Bunker de Santa Úrsula

Bunker de Santa Úrsula was built by order of Franco in 1942 to protect a large part of the northern coast of Tenerife in the event of a possible Allied invasion in World War II, because although Spain remained officially neutral until the end of World War II, Franco was accused of supporting the Axis powers. These accusations were indeed well founded and Franco’s fears were justified. The bunker is in a sad state these days, but I believe the views from here will make you glad you let yourself be lured in.
