Bodega El Zacatín
Back to all places
Bodega El Zacatín, also known as Guachinche El Churrasco, is a traditional guachinche of which very few remain in the north of Tenerife, in the municipality of Santa Úrsula. This is a winery that makes its own wine and offers a few food dishes to taste and accompany. On their menu they only usually offer 5 dishes. Fresh cheese and fabada as starters. In grilled meats: steaks, chicken and pork sword. With fries to accompany if you wish. For drinks they only have house wine, water and lemon-lime soda. Furthermore, you will not find desserts, coffee or any other type of food or drink, in the purest style of the guachinches of yesteryear. The place is located in the middle of a narrow and quite steep street, surrounded by a natural environment in the upper part of Santa Úrsula. This can be a bit of a problem for some types of drivers who may prefer more accessible and comfortable locations. Of course, they have some parking spaces for their clients. The few dishes they offer are delicious and very well prepared. The food is very affordable and the portions are generous. The winery usually closes and ends the season around June, when they run out of wine. In November they open their doors again with the arrival of the new wine harvest. If you want to live the experience of a traditional guachinche, just as they were in past generations, Bodega El Zacatín is a very good option. Telephone 922301399
